Foreign Airlines Slashing Lagos-London Ticket to Destroy Us -Air Peace

The Chairman of Air Peace Allen Onyema has alerted Nigerians on the sinister drop of the Lagos- London air fares by international airlines as a treacherous gang up, disguised as marketing strategy, to frustrate and kill off the indigenous airline

Onyema revealed the shocking suspicion held by many Nigerians who commented on social media after spotting price drops from major foreign airlines who traditionally pegged high charges for their Lagos- London route, prior to Air Peaces entry. Onyema, who appeared on Channels TV interview program, Poltics Today, mentioned this disturbing reality whilst talking about his travails in securing the London – Lagos route for his airline

He pointed out that before his airline entered the Nigeria-UK route, international airlines charged outrageous fares, with business class tickets going for as much as N17 million and economy class going for N5 million, attributing these high fares to the exchange rate.

However, just weeks after Air Peace started operating on the Lagos-London route, the same foreign airlines drastically reduced their fares in a sneaky attempt to oust Air Peace, even though there was no significant change in the exchange rate between the dollar and the Naira, Onyema stated.

Nigerians both online and offline are now calling on high ranking government officials to make it a duty and priority to protect Air Peace against international gang up. Observers are reiterating that the devilish move by these foreign airlines who had been exploiting Nigerians for decades, can only stop if Nigerians home and abroad rally around our own indigenous airline, which is Air peace
