“Peter Obi won Presidential Election in Rivers State”, Says Former Chief Whip, Accuses Wike of Rigging

A former Chief Whip of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Evans Bipi, has accused the former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike, of manipulating the outcome of the 2023 general elections. Speaking at a solidarity rally for the current governor, organized by women groups across the state, Bipi claimed that the Labour Party (LP) had actually won all their elections in the state.

During the rally, Bipi responded to recent statements made by Wike, who had asserted his dominance in the political landscape and hinted at future electoral victories. Bipi, representing Governor Siminalayi Fubara at the event, expressed confidence in Fubara’s ability to win convincingly in any upcoming election, citing the support of the mobilized women.

Bipi further alleged that Wike and his allies did not secure any seats in the 2023 elections, referencing biblical scripture and emphasizing the LP’s purported success. He questioned the legitimacy of Wike’s claims regarding future electoral triumphs and asserted a desire for the opportunity to showcase Fubara’s performance in office.

In his closing remarks, Bipi conveyed a sense of anticipation for future electoral contests, suggesting that the results would reflect the efforts and achievements of Fubara’s administration.
