In a distressing incident on Sunday night, unidentified gunmen executed the abduction of Etiyin Maurice Edet, the traditional ruler of Akpabuyo local government area in Cross River State. Tragically, the assailants also claimed the life of the monarch’s aide during the assault within the confines of the palace.
