Music Icon & activist, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy has lambasted some Arab religion adherents, over the burning of music star, Davido’s picture. In a post shared on Twitter, which captured the moment a group of fanatics, in Maiduguri, were seen burning Davido’s poster over spurious allegations
Reacting to the condenmable act, Charly Boy came heavy on those who engaged on it. He wrote, ‘‘Abegi, make we hear word. Una dey burn Davido picture, una life don better? Abi Na Davido dey increase poverty for north? Una Allah wey dey do local runs for northern Nigeria never travel go Dubai see as correct worshippers dey live? Abegi, if e pain una reach, go to court. Nonsense”
Recall that Davido was attacked online by Arab religion adherents, for supposed sacrelege, after he posted a video of his new signee Logos Olori, which displayed a part where some group of men were seen dancing in a mosque.
The outrage, confusing for most Nigerians, had Arab religion reherents tagging the 45-second video clip posted Friday, as offensive and are now demanding an apology from Davido, after he has taken down the video.
