Super Falcons Star, Esther Okoronkwo Launches Weekly Instagram Talent Show with 50k Prize to Help Nigerians!

Esther Okoronkwo, a star player in both the Super Falcons and UD Tenerife, has recently unveiled a groundbreaking initiative to support individuals in Nigeria and beyond. The accomplished forward, who played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s successful qualification for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, is extending her influence beyond the football field.

In an effort to address prevalent hardships, Okoronkwo has launched an Instagram talent show. This weekly talent show, hosted on Instagram, invites participants from Nigeria and around the world to display their talents with the opportunity to win 50,000 Naira every Friday.

Announcing the initiative on her Instagram account, Okoronkwo stated, “I’ll go live every Friday at 7 pm my time GMT for people to showcase their talents and possibly win 50k.” The inaugural edition recently took place, with Moses Olufemi emerging as the first winner, receiving the promised 50,000 Naira.

Participation in the talent show is open to a diverse range of talents, including singing, dancing, acting, sports, and more. The engaging live sessions on Instagram provide a platform for viewers and participants to connect, judge the showcased talents, and contribute to a vibrant community around the initiative.

Expressing her satisfaction after the successful launch, Esther Okoronkwo shared, “Tonight was really fun, and I hope to see y’all again next week.” Her vision for empowerment extends beyond the football pitch, creating a meaningful platform for talent recognition and financial support for those in need.

Noteworthy is Okoronkwo’s significant role in the Super Falcons’ journey to the knockout rounds of the 2023 FIFA World Cup. The Tenerife forward has further solidified her importance to the Nigerian women’s national team by contributing decisively in the recent qualification victory over Cape Verde, scoring two goals in Abuja and the equalizer in the return leg in Praia, securing a 7-1 aggregate win.
