Osun’s Chief Akande Congratulates Newly Installed Monarch, Olufon of Ifon

Ekiti chief, Asiwaju Ewe of Otun-Ekiti, Chief Kazeem Akande, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the recently installed Olufon of Ifon, Osun state, Oba Peter Oluwole Akinyooye. Through a personally signed message on Tuesday, Akande conveyed his best wishes to the newly enthroned monarch, who notably served as the past president of the Ibadan Tennis Club.

Expressing optimism for the future, Akande highlighted the potential for increased development within Ifon town under the leadership of the former president of the Ibadan Tennis Club. As the Chairman of the Oyo State Aquatic Association, Akande emphasized the valuable experience and expertise that Oba Peter Oluwole Akinyooye brings to his new role, foreseeing a period of progress and prosperity for Ifon and its people.

The appointment of Prince Peter Oluwole Akinyooye as the new Olufon of Ifon was officially announced by the Osun State government on February 7th, with the ceremonial presentation taking place on Thursday. In a message shared with news men, Chief Akande conveyed his family’s joy and offered prayers for the success and well-being of Oba Peter Oluwole Akinyooye’s reign as the traditional ruler of Ifon.
