Imo State: Monarch Who Coronated Buhari, Uzodimma Assassinated in Palace

On Monday, July 17, 2023, Eze James Nnamdi (Mirioma), who crowned Muhammad Buhari “Ogbuagu” and Hope Uzodinma with several titles in Imo State, was brutally assassinated at his house in Aboh Mbaise LGA.
An eyewitness described how the attackers allegedly asked the monarch many questions before dragging him outside and murdered him.

The gunmen “drove in about two vehicles and dragged the victim out of his palace after asking him several questions, then shot him (Monarch) about seven times,” the eyewitness claimed. They sped out in their car, believing the monarch was already gone. He was taken to the hospital by the locals where he later died

“The traditional ruler was shot many times when the assailants broke into his home”, according to Henry Okoye, the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, who verified this shocking occurrence in a statement.

The Police in Imo State is said to be investigating the incident

As the complete abandonment of African spirituality continue to hunt the Black race on all spheres, observers point to the fact that when native customs were fully practiced in Igbo land, the elders and chief priest of the community would have swung into divination for investigations
