Kaduna State: Invading Terrorists Kidnap Mother and Son in Dogarawa

Dogarawa community in the Sabon Gari local government area of Kaduna fell victim to a bandit attack, resulting in the abduction of Halima and her son, Yusuf Bello. Eyewitnesses reported that Mr. Bello, the head of the family, managed to escape the assailants, but his wife and son were unfortunate captives in the incident.

The Kaduna state police command spokesperson, ASP Mansir Hassan, has confirmed the occurrence of this unfortunate event.

Simultaneously, the inhabitants of Tumburku, a village in Giwa local government area of the state, expressed their discontent with the escalating kidnap activities by staging a protest. Large numbers from the aggrieved community headed to the Emir of Zazzau’s palace on Tuesday evening to voice their concerns.

Speaking on behalf of the community, Mall Sani Danlami conveyed their grievances, emphasizing the persistent threat of banditry targeted at Tumburku. The community seeks intervention from the state government through the Emir, hoping for immediate action to address the security challenges they face.

Recalling the recent attack on Tumburku in the early hours of Monday, the spokesperson underlined the urgent need for attention to the security situation. The community’s visit to the traditional ruler’s palace serves as a plea for swift action and resolution, with the expectation that their concerns will be conveyed to Governor Uba Sani for effective measures against the recurring menace of banditry.
