The Senator attire, a popular choice in Nigeria, received a modern twist with Ankara print, predominantly featuring white tops and trousers adorned with green flowery designs.
Grouped with Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and hosts Ivory Coast in Group A, Nigeria engaged in preparatory friendlies, securing a resounding 12-0 victory against a local Dubai club but succumbing 2-0 to Guinea.
Despite their spirited journey, Victor Boniface faced an unfortunate injury in camp, leading to his exclusion from the tournament. In his stead, Terem Moffi has stepped in. Notably, the coaching crew, led by Jose Peseiro, also embraced the cultural flair, joining the players in donning the vibrant local attire during their airport clearance, presenting a bright and stellar ensemble.
