$60,000 Each Player: Super Falcons World Cup Cash Paid to NFF – FIFA

The Super Falcons should be throwing a party now after world football governing body FIFA announced they have paid the prize monies they guaranteed to the players who featured at the Women’s World Cup earlier this year.

The Super Falcons will each receive $60,000 via the NFF after they succeeded reaching the Round of 16 of the tournament staged by Australia and New Zealand.

Their Jamaican counterparts have already received their cash after they also reached the knockout rounds of the World Cup.

There have been well-founded apprehension that the Falcons would be short changed by the NFF, but FIFA officials had assured the players they had taken special interest in their case.
