Untold Hardship: People Who Voted Bola Tinubu Now in Regrets, Says PDP

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ondo state chapter in a recent statement have said that Nigerians who voted for President Bola Tinubu are now regretting their actions following the increased hardship by the Tinubu-led administration.

This statement was made by the publicity secretary of the party in the state, Kennedy Peretei, while responding to a statement made by the APC Chairman in the state, Ade Adetimehin that PDP has become extinct.

Peterei stated that saying PDP is now extinct is not only laughable but the a mischief of the highest order.

In his words,

“It would have been unnecessary to join issues with Mr Ade Adetimehin, chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ondo state, over his unguarded statements about the Peoples Democratic Party, but the need to put records straight. Adetimehin is probably the only person who is oblivious to the fact that Ondo state people hold his party, APC and its inhuman government responsible for their suffering and agony of the last eight years.

“Especially the withdrawal of fuel subsidy and its biting effect on everybody. He does not realise that even those who were tricked to vote PC in the 2023 general election are already regretting and lamenting the miscalculation that has brought about untold hardship for them and their families”.

Currently, the Tinubu-led administration has left a lot of Nigerians faced with increased hardship, as price of foodstuffs and other commodities have continued to rise.

This had led to several unions calling on President Tinubu to take steps to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians.
