Troost Ekong Launches Foundation Fundraiser as Soccer Stars set to Make Appearance

Super Eagles captain Troost Ekong is set to officially launch his foundation with a fund-raising charity match slated for June 2 at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State

The 30-year-old football star used Instagram earlier in March to announce the start of this non-profit organization which will focus on empowering Nigerian and African youth.

The charity match is expected to be graced by notable personalities from different works of life coming together for a good cause. Celebrities like renowned TV host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Afrobeats artiste Odumodu Blvck have reported confirmed their attendance.

Football stars like Stanley Nwabali, Calvin Bassey as well as Super Eagles legends Kanu Nwankwo and Daniel Amokachi will also be participating in the fundraiser.

The football star remains focused on inspiring Nigerian youths beyond the footballing pitch, as many look forward to seeing more positive achievements from the amiable Nigerian international
