Saudi Arabia Pro-League club Al Hilal has submitted a £120 million bid, for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen with wages of £1 million per week. The Napoli striker will become the highest-paid African footballer if he accepts the offer to join Al Hilal this summer.
Meanwhile, Napoli has valued Osimhen at €150 million (£128.8 million), and the club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis, has revealed that they are willing to consider the offer as the striker’s contract extension talks stall. Also, Napoli and Osimhen’s agent have reportedly failed to find a resolution on an extension to his deal, which runs until the summer of 2025.
Last month, Napoli president’s was asked about the progress of a new contract for Osimhen. He said: “We have a basic agreement on a two-year extension, but we are willing to consider an offer we could not refuse.”
Meanwhile, there are recent reports of Osimhen turning down the offer, as he is currently in talks with Napoli, but the club has made it clear that, if someone makes an offer they cannot refuse, then they are willing to sell him.
