Plateau State Heritage: Gov Mutfwang Charges Residents to Stand Together Against Insecurity

In light of the security issues in the communities of Mangu, Barkin-Ladi, Riyom, and other local government areas of plateau state the state’s Caleb Mutfwang has urged residents to unite, regardless of tribe or religious affiliation, in order to defend the state’s intergrity.

At a Thanksgiving service for Ayuba Abok, the immediate past speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, held at COCIN Church in Jos Jarawa, Mutfwang made the disclosure.

In the words of the governor, “We must learn from the mistakes of the past where different ethnic groups were allowed to deal with disasters that struck their areas. I have faith that Plateau will once again succeed and that God will provide us victory over those who have tormented us”.

Recall that insurgency had bedeviled various part of the country which almost all political aspirants now use as a trademark for campaigns
