The Canaan Land Golf and Country Club is set to host its grand opening ceremony on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Koko town, with the distinguished presence of the Olu of Warri, His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
Managing Director of Akogate Water and Ajimele Oil, Honourable Felix Aganbi, expressed pride in having the Olu of Warri as a part of the community and highlighted the goal of fostering a strong sense of community through the golf tournament.
The Canaan Land Golf Club, located 70 minutes away from the monarch’s palace, boasts beautifully designed homes, world-class amenities, and weekly events.
Among the notable figures assigned specific holes were Ani Ojuyah, Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan, Alfred Temile, Dr Alex Ideh, Ama Etuwewe, Val Arenyeka, and Shola Mese.
Guests are anticipated to arrive in Koko on Friday, February 9, with a cocktail party scheduled for the evening. The ceremonial hosted by the Olu of Warri will take place on Saturday, February 10, followed by a second tee-off and award presentation at 11 am and 6 pm, respectively.
