The Government of Kwara State out of benevolence, has paid the common entrance examination fees for students in all the 16 Local government areas (LGA) of the state.
In a statement issued by the Press Secretary, of the state Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Mr. Peter Amogbonjaye said the state government has fully paid the fees entrance examination of Pupils across the 16 Local Government areas of the state, while cautioning principals against collecting money from students or their parents.
The statement reads,
“This is to inform the general public that the common entrance into Junior Secondary School across the 16 Local Government Areas of the State is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 19th August, 2023, beginning from 8 a.m. prompt. The Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development cautions Headmasters/Principals against collecting any money from pupils or their parents.
“Any headmaster/principal caught in such unlawful act will be sanctioned accordingly. The Ministry also advises pupils to prepare for the examination as no form of malpractice will be tolerated.”
Notably, Pupils are also advised to prepare for the examination, as no form of malpractice will be tolerated.
