Invasion: Nigerian Farmers Face Imposition of Taxes by Jihadist Terrorists From Libya, Mali, Niger Republic

In a recent development, Hon. Ikenga Ikeagwuonu Ugochinyere, the Member representing Ideato South and North seat federal constituency of Imo State, has expressed concern over the distressing situation wherein terrorists from neighboring African countries are imposing taxes on Nigerian farmers.

During Wednesday’s plenary session, the House of Representatives discussed a motion highlighting the terrorizing activities of these terrorists from Mali and Niger, specifically targeting farmers in Sokoto State.

Responding to the issue, Ugochinyere emphasized that this posed a significant threat to Nigeria’s sovereignty. However, he expressed optimism in the current administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that they would take decisive action to eliminate these criminals.

He further stressed the urgency of the matter, emphasizing the need for security agencies to re-strategize and effectively eradicate criminals and terrorists. Ugochinyere firmly believed that with the determination and dedication of the present administration, these threats would be swiftly defeated.
