Ex Governor Udom Calls for Afro-Democratic Ideals at London Political Summit

Former Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel in an address at the 8th edition of the London Political Summit held at the House of Commons, Westminster,  passionately championed Afro-centric ideals in democracy.

He commended the former Governor’s advocacy and expressed optimism that localized democratic practices could enhance their effectiveness in various regions where democracy has been introduced.

The prestigious event was graced by notable dignitaries, including the President of Sierra Leone, H.E. President Julius Maada Bio, represented by the High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Morie Manyeh.

Other attendees included Hon. Paul Bristow, Rt. Hon.
