Delta State Young Monarch Demands Swift Justice for Late Monarch Murdered by Fulani Herders amid Prolonged Legal Proceedings

The Obi of Ubulu-Uku, His Royal Majesty, Obi Chukwuka Noah Akaeze, has called on the government to swiftly conclude the prolonged trial of the suspected killers of his father, Obi Edward Akaeze Ofulue III, who was murdered by suspected cattle herders seven years ago.

Speaking at a grand reception celebrating his return after completing his university education and being called to the English Bar, the monarch expressed concern over the prolonged legal proceedings, urging intensified efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice and bring closure to the case.

Obi Akaeze, addressing the jubilant crowd, emphasized his commitment to leading Ubulu-Uku to prosperity and called for the support and cooperation of the people. He lamented the continued presence of gunmen in the kingdom, citing a recent incident where a vigilante operative was killed with no arrests made.

The monarch urged the community to work together to ensure peace and security, emphasizing that with the completion of his education, he is prepared to guide the kingdom towards becoming the best town in Nigeria.
