Former Nigerian flying Eagles striker, Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi is reportedly undergoing a routine medical before completing a transfer to Serie A club Salernitana.
Recent reports confirmed that Salernitana has successfully negotiated a transfer agreement with Slovenian club NK Celje for Ikwuemesi’s move.
The striker of Slovenian club NK Celje was previously close to signing for newly promoted Ligue 1 club Le Havre before the deal fell through.
The 22-year-old striker recorded nine goals and contributed five assists while representing NK Celje in the previous season.
