UMUAHIA – A headless decomposing body of an unidentified woman has been found in the Umuahia South Local Government area of Abia state.The body was discovered by Engineers who had reportedly gone to lay cable at the site they had dug earlier.
This prompted them to inform the police about their discovery. The state police Public relations officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka promised to look into the situation.
Due to the oozing smell emanating from the decomposing body, the workers had to abandon the project pending when the body will be evacuated by relevant authorities.
Reports reveal that this is the second time that a decomposing body has been dropped in the same environment. The first body was discovered about 25 meters away from where the last incident was discovered.
