2 Adamawa Monarchs Acknowledge NDLEA’s efforts in Tackling Substance Abuse

Two prominent traditional rulers in Adamawa State have commended the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for its concerted efforts in tackling substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking across the nation. HRH Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda II, Kwandi Nunguraya, and HRM Biyapo Bwaltam Bently Mboiman II, Murum Mbula, expressed their appreciation during a recent courtesy visit to the head of the NDLEA Rtd Brig.-Gen. Buba Marwa

In their statements, the monarchs emphasized the importance of collaboration between the traditional institution and the agency, emphasising the pivotal role traditional leaders can play in combating the drug scourge, particularly at the grassroots level where their influence is profound.

The chairman commended the traditional rulers for their proactive stance in aligning with and supporting the NDLEA’s mission. He stressed the significance of sustained cooperation between the agency and traditional institutions to effectively address the multifaceted challenges posed by drug abuse and trafficking. This collaborative approach, he affirmed, is essential for fostering a safer and healthier environment for all citizens.
