Innoson Motors of Nnewi Honours Yoruba Monarch with Impressive Auto Gifts

In celebration of the eighth anniversary of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Innoson Vehicles, an indigenous automobile company, demonstrated its appreciation of the Yoruba race on Thursday by presenting an exemplary gift to the symbolic monarch.

Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle, orchestrated the presentation, which featured two state-of-the-art vehicles—a distinguished IVM Smart car, an Innoson Shuttle van—and a trio of meticulously branded motorcycles.

In a noteworthy gesture, Innoson Vehicles also unveiled plans to honor an outstanding staff member with a new vehicle at the upcoming Staff Appreciation Night. Cornel Osigwe, the Head of Corporate Communications for Innoson Vehicles, emphasized the company’s substantial role as a major sponsor for the Staff Appreciation Day/Award Night.

This support enables the Ooni of Ife to recognize exemplary personnel with a coveted brand-new Innoson Car. Additionally, deserving staff members will be bestowed with thoughtfully branded Innoson motorcycles as tokens of appreciation.

Seizing the occasion, the Ooni of Ife utilized his platform to advocate for a substantial increase in government patronage of domestic automakers, specifically urging officials to procure at least 70% of state vehicles from the company. This call aligns with the monarch’s vision of fostering economic growth and promoting indigenous industries.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude, Olori Ogunwusi, the Ooni’s wife, extended appreciation to Innoson’s Chairman, Dr. Chukwuma, acknowledging his significant contributions to Nigeria’s progress over the years. Furthermore, she pledged the commitment of their foundation to actively promote Innoson’s vehicles nationwide through continued patronage, solidifying a partnership that extends beyond this momentous celebration.
