ISESE: Court Gives Stringent Bail Terms to Traditionalist, amid Suspicions of Criminal Use of Arrest Warrant!

An Isese Religion Practitioner, Mr. Adegbola Abdulazeez   a.k.a (Tani Olohun) has been granted bail by a Kwara State Upper Area Court on Monday. Recall that a Magistrate court had questionably refused him bail last month.

Mr. Abdulazez who was arrested on August 16th 2023, for an alleged ‘criminal case’, had been in detention since with his quest for bail denied. The court finally granted him bail after listening to the prayers of both parties on the rational for the application filed by the defense council to Mr. Abdulazeez.

He was however, asked to provide two sureties who will deposit five million naira each, and a proof of landed properties in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.

Ioinews gathered that the Upper Area earlier granted bail to the second defendant, Baba Oluwo Tede, but refused to extend same gesture to Tani Oluhun. Adedamola Solesi, one of Tani Olohun’s lawyers while reacting, said the judgement will not grant Tani Olohun total freedom to leave detention because of the subsisting ruling of the Magistrate Court.

Earlier it was reported that the police in Kwara State, North Central Nigeria, confirmed that the warrant used to arrest Adegbola Abdulazeez was fake. It is still not comfirmed if those behind the criminal use of a fake arrest warrant are getting investigated

The spokesperson for the state police command, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, had said the command is unaware of which court in Kwara State issued the warrant to arrest Mr. Abdulazeez Solesi
