HUNGARY Budapest- World record holder of the 100m hurdles, Tobi Amusan has qualified for the final of the World Championships event in Budapest, Hungary.
Amusan yesterday in a narrow win, emerged victorious in the second semi-final event, finishing with a time of 12:56 seconds. Ackera Nugent enjoyed an early lead before Amusan eventually snatched victory at the finishing line.
Amusan will be looking to defend her title at the final event in a star-studded line up, which will see her compete against the likes of former world record holder Kendra Harrison, and Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, amongst others.
Her fans are hopeful she will emerge victorious in the final event, following her rivals finishing at faster times.
Amusan has however noted that she remains focused and committed to ensuring that she defends her title as the reigning champion.
