A Look at How Mane has transformed his village into a Town

  • He built a £455,000 hospital, £250,000 school, fuel station, and post office in his village, Bambaly.
  • He gives each family €70 monthly.
  • He gives kids free clothes.
  • He provided 4G internet for them.

Not only has Mané donated money to his hometown, he has also helped students in his village participate in education. Due to his act of charity in October 17, 2022,  Mané received the inaugural Socrates Award, named after Brazilian footballer Socrates, who agitated against the country’s military dictatorship in the 1980s.

The award was introduced by FIFA to recognize footballers taking on humanitarian work and recognition for their off-pitch endeavors.
