Rivers State: Ekpeye Monarch Honors Philanthropist (Dr.) Seinye Lulu-Briggs

AHOADA – Rivers State – Eze Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo, the Ekpeye Logbo 111 of Ekpeye Kingdom Ahoada East Rivers State, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, conferred a chieftaincy title on the owner of O.B Lulu-Briggs Foundation, Dr. Seinye O.B. Lulu-Briggs.

Eze Anugwo and his Council of Chiefs bestowed the title, of ‘Ununwe Gwoduma Emene Ekpeye 1 of Ekpeye land’ (The Chief that heals Ekpeye people) at his palace, just at the commencement of the recipients’ foundations 39th Free Medical Mission at the Model Primary Health Centre in Ahoada Town.

An entrepreneur, philanthropist and Chairman of the O.B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation, Dr. Lulu-Briggs foundations traverses Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River and Rivers states with over 144,700 people reached.

The newest title, adds to a long list of impressive awards for the philanthropist, attesting to her inspiring contributions to healthcare and the overall socio-economic growth of Nigeria

The O.B Lulu-Briggs Foundation’s 39th Free Medical Mission began formally on Monday, April 8, and will continue until April 12.

At the five-day medical camp, free services offered would include counselling/health education, outpatient consultations, general surgeries, paediatric care (including de-worming), dental care, vision care (including glasses and surgery), malaria testing & treatment, HIV/AIDs screening, physiotherapy, and an onsite pharmacy and laboratory.
