IPOB warns Northern Group to Stay Clear off Nnamdi Kanu’s Matter

The Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), have cautioned against keeping their leader Nnamdi Kanu detained, stating that doing so will cause Nigeria to fall.

In response to a request from the Coalition of Northern Group, CNG, asking PresidentTinubu not to release Kanu, IPOB’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, issued the warning. Powerful described the Northern coalition as clueless for urging Tinubu not to release Kanu.

He reminded the coalition in a statement he signed that Kanu had been released and acquitted by an Abuja Appeal Court, thus Tinubu should order his release. He asked Tinubu to follow Nigerians’ counsel and release the IPOB leader in the nation’s best interests.

The Northern Coalition Group was warned by to stay away from Kanu’s unlawful and unconstitutional incarceration “or we will shred what is left of their relevance.”
