The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has expressed its appreciation for the Chairman/CEO of Erudite Group, Saheed Oladele, acknowledging his significant contributions to the educational development of Ibadanland and Nigeria. In recognition of his sterling efforts, Oladele was decorated as the Grand Ambassador of Ibadan Culture during the opening of the Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of Ibadanland office.
The CCII President-General, Ajeniyi Ajewole, noted Oladele’s noteworthy impacts on the educational sector, citing his role as a key player in advancing quality education.
The Vice President-General 1 of CCII, Dr Tirmisiyu Oladimeji, affirmed Oladele’s trustworthiness, highlighting the positive outcomes observed in one student sent to Erudite Millennium Limited. During the address by the Chairman of the 2024 Ibadan Cultural Week, Balogun Gaphar Ojetola, he commended Oladele’s school achievements even in the United Kingdom, expressing surprise at the global recognition of Erudite’s accomplishments.
In response, Oladele outlined his commitment to leveraging his role as Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of Ibadanland to renovate schools, addressing the challenges of inadequate infrastructure and creating a conducive learning environment.
During his remarks, Oladele also outlined specific goals, including collaborating with stakeholders to reduce the number of out-of-school children in Ibadan and promoting training and entrepreneurial skills. He emphasized the intent to provide scholarships to deserving and financially challenged students in public schools.
Seeking support and partnerships, Oladele called on Ibadan indigenes and well-wishers to contribute towards the realization of these educational objectives.
