Vanishing Penis: Community Leaders Convene to Address Recent Incidents in Ebonyi State

The Executive Chairman of Ohaukwu Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, Prince Ikechukwu Odono, has revealed that a meeting is underway involving monarchs and stakeholders from Nsturakpa-Izia community to address a concerning incident of manhood disappearance in the area.

In a recent interview, Prince Odono responded to last week’s occurrence of manhood disappearance in Nsturakpa, emphasizing that, aside from one confirmed case, other allegations were fabricated by hoodlums attempting to exploit the situation for nefarious purposes.

Prince Odono clarified that the perpetrator responsible for the confirmed manhood disappearance is already in police custody. He assured the public that the victim is receiving medical treatment.

Addressing the broader issue, Odono mentioned that measures have been implemented at the local government level to address the situation. He expressed concern over the widespread news, including on social media, and the subsequent panic in Ezzangbo.

A planned meeting with chiefs and traditional rulers aims to strategize and curb the menace is in the offing. Odono acknowledged the need for a concerted effort to prevent the misuse of the initial incident, which had led to subsequent false claims.

While acknowledging the gravity of the situation, Odono urged the residents of Ohaukwu local government area to continue with their normal activities, emphasizing that only the first reported case was verified as true. He highlighted the potential misuse of the situation, cautioning against unfounded fears and attributing unusual occurrences to the reported manhood disappearances.

The forthcoming meeting with chiefs and stakeholders is expected to pave the way for stronger measures against such incidents in the future.
