Kafanchan: A Strange Sickness Affecting Children Breaks Out in Kaduna State.

In Kafanchan Community of Jama’a local government area of Kaduna State, a bizarre sickness outbreak occurred that has already claimed the lives of 10 children while hospitalizing others.

Medical professionals have been looking into this illness that has been affecting the respiratory systems of youngsters between the ages of 3 and 13 for some time.

Dr. Isaac Nathaniel, the head medical director at Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa Memorial hospital, confirmed the occurrence of the unusual illness in Kafanchan.

Additionally, Comrade Yunana Markus Barde, the Executive Chairman of the Jema’a Local Government Area, urged the public to take prompt action whenever they notice children between the ages of 0 and 13 exhibiting signs of runny nose, excessive throat pain, blocked airways in the throat, or difficulty breathing.

In order to stop the outbreak from spreading and becoming unmanageable, he cautioned that such indicators should be observed in the local communities.The Chairman however stated that; local government employees working in primary health care, traditional institutions, religious leaders, and parents are urged to take appropriate action.
