Chinese Assailants Brutally Murder Nigerian Medical Student in the Philippines

A Nigerian student named Ikem, who was studying medicine in the Republic of the Philippines, was allegedly brutally murdered by a group of Chinese individuals. The shocking news was shared by a close friend of the deceased, Michael Ojuola, through a post on his social media handle.

Ojuola revealed the horrifying details of the incident, stating that Ikem was tied up, his mouth covered, and was mercilessly beaten until he succumbed to his injuries.

“A friend of mine, A Nigerian Medical Student named Ikem studying in the Republic of Philippines was brutally murdered by a group of Chinese. They tied his hands up, covered and tied his mouth and was beaten blue-black until he gave up the ghost” He wrote.

Expressing his outrage, Ojuola emphasized the need for justice, asserting that this heinous crime should not be overlooked, regardless of the diplomatic relationship between the Philippines and China.

He condemned the brutality of the act, highlighting the inhumanity and barbarity displayed by the perpetrators. Ojuola further shared distressing videos from the hospital, revealing the extent of the tragedy.

In a separate post, Ojuola shared videos displaying the remains of Ikem, mourning the loss of his friend and demanding justice for the senseless act.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, leaving the community in shock and seeking answers regarding the tragic fate of this young man. The incident has sparked outrage and calls for action, as the search for justice for Ikem continues amidst the grief and disbelief surrounding his untimely demise.
