Arab Religion Clerics Arrested in Ibadan for Harvesting Man’s Head

Three Arab religion clerics have been apprehended and are currently being held at the Oyo State Criminal Investigation Department on suspicion of beheading a man in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State. The victim, who was employed by one of the alleged killers, was lured to a bush in Moniya, Akinyele Local Government Area, under the false promise of a job opportunity.

Once at the location, he was allegedly murdered by the clerics, and his head was severed. This gruesome act of violence has left many residents in deep shock and disbelief.

According to The PUNCH’s investigation, the suspects used the guise of a job offer to entice the victim to the remote location. The suspects, well-known within the Islamic community, reportedly promised him employment, only to betray him in the most horrifying manner. A resident, who chose to remain anonymous, expressed her heartbreak over the incident. She revealed that one of the alleged murderers was a widely recognized cleric known for his distinctive turban within the Arb religion adherent community of Alapata. The fact that individuals of such standing in the community could be involved in such a heinous crime has left locals in a state of shock and disbelief

A credible police source confirmed the incident, disclosing that the alleged perpetrators were landlords within the jurisdiction where the crime occurred. The case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department in Iyaganku for further investigation, as authorities work diligently to uncover the truth behind this gruesome act.
