Abuja Court: Magistrate Abdulazeez Ismail Muhammad Orders Mental Treatment for Lone Obedient Protester, Obiajulu

ABUJA- An Abuja Magistrate Court in Zuba has directed the Kuje Correctional facility to continue detaining Obiajulu Uja, a supporter of the OBIdient movement. Obiajulu was forcefully removed from a Lagos-Abuja flight after protesting alone, demanding that, legitimacy embatted President Tinubu, not be sworn in as President on May 29

The court, headed by Magistrate Abdulazeez Ismail Muhammad, the trial judge, ruled that Obiajulu is unfit for trial and must receive urgent medical treatment for two months at the Kuje facility. The court will revisit the case if his mental condition improves during this period.
