Anambra Court OK’s Ezumeri Quarters to Nominate new Ozubulu Monarch

In a bid to restore peace and harmony in the Igweship dispute in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Council of Anambra State, the court has resolved the matter, paving the way for the Ezumeri Quarters to potentially produce the traditional ruler of Ozubulu.

Addressing journalists, community leader Nze Charles Muoma hinted on the importance of upholding the collective will of the people and resisting manipulative influences. Muoma noted the community’s desire for development and unity, calling for stakeholders to unite for common goals.

Expressing disappointment with past obstacles, Muoma noted the challenges faced by Ezumeri Quarters in their efforts to nominate a candidate for the crown, attributing setbacks to resistance from individuals benefiting from the current Igwe leadership. However, with the court’s intervention, Muoma expressed optimism for a renewed sense of hope, peace, and unity among the people of Oraifite. He emphasized the readiness of the community to support the Ezumeri Quarters in selecting a leader who will foster inclusivity and contribute to Oraifite’s transformation.

The court’s decision to halt Dr. Daniel Udoji from claiming the title of Igwe Oraifite marks a turning point in the community’s journey towards stability and progress. Muoma urged Oraifite residents to rally behind the initiative to select a leader who will prioritize the interests of all members and promote the welfare of the community.

Despite past challenges and opposition, Muoma expressed confidence in the resilience and determination of Oraifite’s people to embrace positive change and work towards a prosperous future.
